That's Not Matzah!

Elianna may be too young to be asking the Mah Nishtana [aka "The 4 Questions"] quite yet at the Passover Seder, but apparently my brother and sister-in-law had a nice time by my parents...

My brother OD was explaining to my nephew Ben (3) that the Jews had to bake their dough quickly before they left Egypt in their rush to get out...
OD: Did it turn into challah or something else?
Ben: Something else.
OD: So what did it turn into?
Ben: French Toast.

Good Moed!!

Kiwi - Sorry! I tried... yes, the answer was matzah. French Toast is somewhere near the epitome of chametz (leavened bread) which we are not allowed to have on Passover.

My bad. :)

Thanks, Ezzie. I'm fortunate; at least I know enough about Judaism to get the significance of unleavened bread.
