Technology transfer

Here's what my daughter says (they both do this, actually - ages 6 & 4) when I'm reading her a story and she needs to go to the bathroom:

"Daddy, can you pause it?"

Think this means they watch too many DVDs?

    My kids do that to each other. They'll be playing together, (no computers involved) and suddenly one will say, "pause the game until I get back, okay? I need the bathroom" or whatever is causing the interruption. It's this techno-generation I guess. When one of my kids first learned how to spell her name she insisted it was R-i-n-a-enter.
